Grad Center Advising and Support

Current graduate and professional students at Penn can connect with the Graduate Student Center to get the information, resources, and guidance they need to be successful throughout their time at Penn. Learn more about how we support you and ways to connect below.

Please note that the Grad Center team is available to provide information and support in relation to a broad range of available resources, policies, and other aspects of your graduate experience at Penn, but that we are generally not able to advise on issues specific to an academic program or school such as tuition, curricular requirements, registration, and admissions. Such questions should be directed to academic program or department administrators.

Drop-In Hours

Members of the Grad Center are available in a drop-in format to answer quick questions related to available resources, policies, and other aspects of your graduate experience at Penn. Students with more complex questions or concerns are encouraged to schedule an individual advising appointment.

No appointment is necessary. Come to the second floor of the Grad Center during scheduled drop-in hours and we will direct you to the appropriate office. During drop-in hours, students will be helped in the order they arrive.

Students are also welcome to send questions to the Grad Center team via email or through our online contact form.
