Angie N. Ocampo is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology. Her research focuses on the diversity of the Latina/o/x experience in the US, focusing on their integration into the racial hierarchy and their political incorporation. As a quantitative sociologist, Ocampo's work integrates surveys and experiments to assess public opinion. Ocampo's work has been published in Latino Studies and the ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.
