Fontaine Doctoral Student Council

The Fontaine Society Doctoral Student Council (DSC) is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting the well-being and professional development of PhD students at Penn and helping to foster a supportive community committed to equal opportunity for scholars from all backgrounds. Members serve on a voluntary basis to advocate on behalf of members and to organize and implement a wide range of events during the year, with support and guidance from the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education departments and staff. 

The Fontaine DSC holds social events for peer connection and partners with other student groups throughout the year and many volunteer in service projects, such as the “Science Education Academy” for grade school students in West Philadelphia.
