Sasha received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Barbara, an MA in Secondary Education from Eastern New Mexico University, and, most recently, an MA in Program Evaluation and Improvement Research from the University of Michigan. She worked as a public school educator for six years before joining the research and evaluation team at UM ADVANCE where she reported on institutional data, evaluated events and workshops, and conducted surveys about campus climate. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the Graduate School of Education in interdisciplinary studies in human development. Her research interests focus on the formation of academic identity in adolescents of color at the intersection of secondary and post secondary education.
