Ravisara or Ning is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering who enjoys working with people and creating events for Penn graduate and professional students as a Grad Life Fellow at the Grad Center. She also serves as a co-president for the Materials Graduate Organization (MatGO) and a SEAS Doctoral Diversity Board member. Her research is focused on suspensions of colloidal threads, especially how they flow and clog. She is a dog lover and enjoys doing yoga and running. Her go-to place for a morning run in Philly is by the Schuylkill River, where she gets to appreciate the river view and cute dogs in the dog parks while running.
