Marnie is a first-year Master of Social Work student in the School of Social Policy and Practice. Beyond the classroom, you'll find her wearing three different hats - one as a Graduate Life Fellow here at the Grad Center, one as a Graduate Resident Advisor in a lively first year residence hall and another as a Zumba instructor at Pottruck Health and Fitness Center. Marnie graduated from Michigan State University in 2021, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She spent the two years in between undergrad and grad school, serving as an English as a Second Language Teacher in the Middle East and a travel nanny throughout Europe and Central America. Marnie is super excited to join to the Grad Center team and meet new people!
