haley (she/her) is a PhD candidate in Sociology, with expertise in inequality and studies how racial group boundaries are formed and maintained. She is particularly interested in using contested identities as a cite for seeing how racial boundaries are being re-created. Her dissertation focuses on how second-generation multiracials understand their racial identity and manage racial imposter syndrome.
