Galen is a second-year Master's student studying Hydrogeology in the Applied Geosciences program. He is hoping to use this graduate degree for a career in environmental remediation or water resources management. His capstone will be focused on assessing how macroinvertebrate communities in urban watersheds are affected by improvements in hydrologic condition and stream structure. In his free time, he loves playing the piano, soccer, and outdoorsy activities such as hiking and birdwatching.
