Karen is a second-year master’s student in Intercultural Communication at the Graduate School of Education. Before coming to Penn, Karen worked as a marketer and international volunteer program leader for several international educational enterprises in China. Her research interests are power dynamics in multicultural corporations/institutions and global community-based service-learning development. Karen joined the Grad Center team in February 2022. She is eager to connect, support, and assist all students beyond their academia while studying at Penn. In her spare time, she likes drawing, hiking, walking around the city, and experimenting in the kitchen to fine-tune her cooking.
