Brian is a first year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where h researched in the XYZT lab, advised by Professor Song Zhang. Brian has also worked for McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing and John Deere. Brian is interested in developing robots that operate confidently and robustly in the real world. His research, advised by Prof. Micheal Posa, focuses on developing controllers that allow robots to leverage contact events to improve their performance.
