Maren is a second year student in the Master of Social Work program in the School of Social Policy and Practice. She is passionate about advancing opportunities for young people to succeed, and hopes to work in a youth-focused nonprofit in the future. A Midwest Native, Philadelphia is Maren's first taste of the East Coast, and she has enjoyed getting to know the city over the past year! In her free time, she loves reading, trying new restaurants, and watching reality TV. Maren is thrilled to get the chance to connect with students from other programs through the Grad Center, and is excited to continue to help students from different areas of interest collaborate and create community with one another.
