Elizabeth is a PhD Candidate in the departments of Music and Anthropology at Penn. In her dissertation research, Elizabeth uses ethnographic methods to study noise pollution and mitigation in Mexico City, in relationship to public policy, environmental management, and gentrification. Elizabeth joined the Grad Center team in January 2021, where she helps to plan academic and intellectual programs. She is interested in creating spaces for graduate students to develop new skills and explore opportunities in and beyond academia.
